Description
This training session will enhance the creativity of educators as they create meaningful books for children while learning the importance of implementing standardized learning materials in the classroom.
Objectives
Upon completion of this educational experience, the learners will:
* Identify literacy and/or preschool assessments
* Define literacy terms
* Describe a developmentally appropriate, print-rich environment in which children learn about books, literature, and writing
* Identify ways to engage children in literacy activities, such as reading and writing
